Cherokee Rose Quilt Guild Thomaston

On July 13th and 14th, 2018, we will be hosting our 3rd bienniel Presidential Pathways Quilt Show!  Quilters from all over Georgia and surrounding states are invited to come and enjoy the handiwork of quilters from all over.  It is our goal to share and spread the love of quilting and sewing.  We hope that, no matter where you are in your quilting journey, you will consider showing your quilt and inspiring others to give it a try. 

At each quilt show, we have one quilt that we raffle off to help raise money to support our show.  The quilt for 2018 was pieced by our 2017 President, Gayle Burkett.  Once it is custom quilted, we will start selling tickets. If you'd like to purchase tickets, please contact any member!

At each quilt show, we always have an exciting selection of vendors for you all to visit.  You never know who may show up.  Folks from Southern Stitches, Dip & Dap, Magical Stitches, and even Martelli's have been known to grace us with their presence.  

Each quilt show, we attempt to display a wide variety of quilts.  From handpieced and handquilted, to machine pieced and professionally, all are a big part of what makes a great show.  We also strive to show a quilts from each step in a quilter's journey, from beginner to expert.  So, you have no excuses not to send a quilt to show!  We want them all.  We want new quilters to look and say "I can do that."  And we want intermediate quilters to say "I can do that."  Because you can.  If you have a quilt to enter, please on the underlined to download

Last day to drop off quilts for non-members is June 22.  Quilts will be returned to the shops the week following the quilt show.  

If you visit the backside of our quilt show, you will find The Cherokee Rose Quilt Guild Boutique.  These are small, handmade items by members of our guild.  You may find a quilt, or a bowl cozy, table runners, ornaments...the kitchen sink.  It's a great place to mark off some items on that Christmas list!
